  29. ClipMate remembers all text items that appear on the Clipboard.  You 
  30. can retrieve, edit, and append clipboard data, with the aid of functions
  31. such as Word Find, Magnify, Auto-Glue, Re-Flow Paragraph, and Print. 
  32. ClipMate saves the data to disk between sessions, and features both short 
  33. and long-term storage.  Easy-to-use Toolbar, and Windows Help.

  58. Installation Notes:
  59. -------------------
  60. To install ClipMate, just copy all of the
  61. Distribution Files to the directory of your
  62. choice.  It doesn't need to be in the path, and
  63. there are no funny environment variables to set.
  64. For the lack of anything better, create
  65. \windows\clipmate, and put the files there.
  66.  
  67. Create an icon in the program manager with a
  68. Command Line that points to ClipMate.

  75. In the event that you wish to remove ClipMate from your system, 
  76. ease the following files:

  92. Please note that no changes were made to your WIN.INI, System.INI,
  93. or any other Windows system files.

  95. Also, before deleting ClipMate, you should review the contents of 
  96. the OVERVIEW screen in the on-line help.  If you have put ClipMate through
  97. a proper evaluation, then everything on that screen should be familiar to
  98. you.  If this is not the case, then you may want to spend some more time 
  99. evaluating ClipMate.

  102. Effect on Your System:
  103. ----------------------
  104. The first time that you run ClipMate, it will
  105. create \windows\clipmate.ini.  WIN.INI is NOT 
  106. altered in any way, nor are any of your other
  107. system files.

  111. ClipMate will create and save the clipboard data
  112. into DEFAULT.CLM, or another .CLM file that you
  113. specify.

  115. System Requirements:
  116. --------------------
  117. Windows 3.x, running in Standard or Enhanced mode.
  118. VGA or better display.  Monchrome vga is ok.
  119. Mouse.

  131. Norton Desktop for Windows users should upgrade to Norton Desktop 
  132. version 2.0.

  167.   On some XGA systems, the system font was so wide that it caused the
  168.   menu to wrap, which caused some of the controls to be hidden.  The
  169.   wide font is now detected, and the window is sized accordingly.

  172.   Fixed problem with Concatenate:
  173.   Bug in Windows causes negative values to sometimes be returned for
  174.   MAXAVAIL, which checks to see if there is enough contiguous free
  175.   memory to complete the concatenation.  Negative values are now ignored.

  178.   Fixed RunTime error 204 - occurred when editing Magnification Window,
  179.   in the event that the user deletes the item that is being edited.
